Samsung Pay works with all card terminals, even non-contactless ones


Samsung Pay is coming to the UK, and soon. Announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona back in March, Samsung Pay is, as you would imagine, the company's contactless payment system that will allow you to present your phone at the cash register instead of a debit or credit card.

What sets Samsung Pay apart from other contactless services is that it will be universally accepted -- even by vendors who don't have a contactless payment terminal. Not only does Samsung Pay work using NFC, but the service also takes advantage of a technology called magnetic secure transmission (MST).
