Wacom's nifty folio digitises your handwritten notes


Japanese company Wacom is best known for producing graphics tablets, but at IFA this year it showed off a new product that harked back to a more analogue age.

The Bamboo Spark is a folio incorporating technology that effectively puts your manual scribblings on to a screen. When you write or draw on a pad of a paper -- any paper -- within the folio's folds and have it appear within the Bamboo Paper companion app on your tablet or smartphone. All of this happens with just a touch of the smart button that sits beside the inner spine of the folio. Your work will also be saved to the Wacom Cloud, or you can opt to save to Dropbox or Evernote.
