Minecraft is now a multi-billion dollar franchise owned by Microsoft -- and arguably the world's most popular mobile game -- but at its best it still feels like a secret society. The Mojang-endorsed Gameband by Now Computing, the first wearable device aimed specifically at 'crafters', feels like an expression of that weird, brilliant core of Minecraft's audience, if not its new mainstream reality.
