The battle is on -- America is going to take on Japan in a giant robot battle! The only thing the competitors need first? Your money.
Well, MegaBots Inc. does, at least. Founders Matt Oehrlein and Gui Cavalcanti -- Team USA in the mecha melee -- have launched a Kickstarter to fund their upgrade of the Mk.II robot. They're seeking $500,000 (£319k) to bring their entrant up to scratch for next year's robo-ruck.
